LOOKING AHEAD
LOOKING AHEAD
Have you ever considered studying the different ways that a story can end? I love looking at this at our actual end of the year together. From stories that set up a sequel to stories that leave us on a cliff hanger and stories that end with someone leaving or, there are so many different ways for stories to end. This sets us up to suggest to students the idea of choosing how they want things to end. How do they want their year to end?
For almost a year being in the 10th Grade, I can finally say we are near in getting it done. I have learned a lot, not only in the aspect of academics but also in life. For how many years of being isolated and learning through online, we all took a brave step and brought back face-to-face classes. The first year of my junior high was amazing but then the unexpected, COVID-19 hits. So in the years of being in 8th and 9th grade, I didn’t felt it. It just past by like an F1 car. Returning to school to be in 10th grade is pretty much weird because I feel like I’m old. Being called “ate” by grade 7,8,9th grade is weird. Anyways, I always say to my classmates, this is probably the best year of me being in high school because of the way bond together. We treat each other like family and our adviser being our mother. But its not always like that, like a family, we ups and downs. We always find a way to solve those problems we got. Just like our science teacher say to us “iremedyos yo”. Either ways, I love my family. Love u guys.
In terms of my academics, they say being grade conscious is not good but how can one avoid it when there is pressure. Pressure on myself, and pressure of being a failure. However, I have overcome those pressures as this school year ends. And next school year, I’ll be a senior. I cant believe it.
